From farmer to farmer in two generations.
Join The Family
Here at Long Creek Farms, we think of everyone as family. That has spilled over into our wine club where most members are family and friends...or become them.
Events
This year our "events" supported various non-profit Wildlife Rescue Organizations - Santa Barbara Wildlife Rehab, March - Wild West Wildlife Rehab Center (TX - check them on "Lone Star Law"), May - Coastal Carolina Wildlife Rehab (NC) and Friends of Texas Wildlife (FOTWL). Customers received 10% off their orders and we donated 40% to the organizations for over $3,000 in 2021. Contact us to have your organization featured.
About The Winery
Kent Mitchell’s grandfather was a farmer/sheep rustler in the hills of Greece and Kent was raised the son of a military officer turned wildcatter turned business owner and real estate developer. Starting in 2011 with the purchase of the first “Long Creek Farms”, a hay, wholesale plant nursery, and now wedding venue in NC (sold), Mitchell and his wife, Rona, expanded to an equestrian show barn in Wellington, FL (now Ocala, FL) and a small ranch outside Santa Ynez, CA. With the incredible California weather, the Mitchell’s turned their plans to providing a family of wines and fine food accompaniments. All items are grown on or near one of the LCF family of properties.
